Part I
The following is a synopsis of the first (1st) talk given by Father Corapi, August 7in San Antonio during his conference entitled: “Life, Love and the Purpose of our Existence”.
He focused on the theme that we are witnessing what has happened throughout the history of humanity with the end of a culture/civilization. We are morally unraveling due to the removal of Godly leadership. We need to be conscious and do things carefully and not just casually because there are dire consequences for the choices we make.
This year Father Corapi will be speaking at six (6) events throughout the country. Father Corapi starting preaching in 1993 and has given over 500 missions/events.
He expounded on Ephesians 6:12: “For our struggle is not with flesh and blood but with the principalities, with the powers, with the world rulers of this present darkness, with the evil spirits in the heavens”.
There is spiritual warfare going on for our souls. We must return to the fundamentals in the moral and spiritual life. We must be successful and effective because souls are at stake.
There is a crisis of language, words are important, words have been subverted, commandeered, and pirated. The translator is a traitor when translating thoughts into language. We have been brainwashed. We must return to the true meaning of words.
Life – What is it really? What does it mean? In the context of eternity, life is eternal. We have an impoverished, diminished concept of life when we think that this life here is it because eternity is forever.
How we live now, determines how we live forever. A balanced life leads to life everlasting.

God is oneness, integrity, unity; God is life itself. The very essence of God is to exist. God is creator, everything else is creation. God is uncreated being, everything else is created being.
“God spoke one word – the Eternal Word”. – St. John of the Cross
We depend on God for everything, everything depends on God. Everything is gratuitous gift from God. It is what it is. Life is more than the natural, physical life, it is eternal life.
Father Corapi has recorded 50 video episodes of the Catechism of the Catholic Church, 48 hours of lecture and 12 hours of questions and answers.
We need to transmit God’s Truth by our trustworthiness and transparency. We must practice our faith more faithfully by learning the unchanging teachings of the Catholic Church. We need to return to the fundamentals of faith. Father Corapi encouraged everyone to read the Catechism of the Catholic Church 10 minutes every day.
As a society we are degenerating; we have the symptoms of soul sickness.
The vaporization of our culture is due to a lack of integrity and greed. Unless there is incentive for excellence there is impoverishment of the human spirit. Blood, sweat and tears builds character.
God is a God of order, Giver of the law of love. We are encouraged to love by enforcing God’s laws. We must be soft hearted, but not soft headed.
