Hello Media Missionaries,
I invite all of you to take a look at EWTN’s new web site design and its wealth of information. It has a new look and I personally think it is wonderful. So, please take time out of your day some time soon to explore and become familiar with the new design at http://www.ewtn.com/
I know a lot of people from our area are under the impression that Time Warner carries EWTN exclusively, but I did not realize the degree of misconception that is misunderstood by so many people until Jane and I hosted a EWTN booth at the Fr. Corapi event. Most of the people that we spoke to did not realize that CTSA is not EWTN. As you and I know, CTSA only carries a few programs from the Network. If you are engaged in a conversation regarding EWTN, please remind the other person that if they are Time Warner cable carriers, they are not receiving the fullness of the Eternal Word Network and that they are missing out on so much wonderful additional Catholic teachings.
August and September are usually the months for parish Ministry Fairs and we have had some request to use the large Mother Angelica tri-board to place at their EWTN table. If you need the board for any occasion, please contact Jane at janesperber@att.net
Please contact her ahead of time so materials can be ordered and delivered.
Our planning for the EWTN pilgrimage trip for October 18 – 22 is looking good. So far we have people from Del Rio, Austin, New Braunfels, S.A., Poth, and even Houston going which is absolutely wonderful. There is still room for more, so if you are interested or know of anyone who may be interested in joining us, please pass the attached information to them and also to your parish secretary for a bulletin announcement or the information board. We will not be planning another trip to EWTN next year and possibly the following year due to the tentative Family Celebration next summer.
