A live re-enactment of the "Stations of the Cross" was held Friday starting at 5:45 p.m. from the Dr. Alfredo Gutierrez Jr. Amphitheatre and ending at St. Joseph Catholic Church 910 Wernett St.

A Rosary followed at the church.

According to Wikipedia, the Stations of the Cross refers to the depiction of the final hours (or passion) of Jesus Christ, and the devotion of commemorating the passion.

This depiction is most commonly done during the season of Lent, especially on Good Friday.
