Invitation to Membership
If God has placed it in your heart, a great love for His Mother, the Blessed Virgin Mary, and a great devotion to the Most Holy Rosary, please pray about becoming an active or auxiliary member of THE LEGION OF MARY.
Active members perform weekly apostolic work by bringing the faith to others through various ministries and activities.
Auxiliary members pray the Rosary and the Legion of Mary prayers every day.
There are presently three (3) active praesidia or groups, two (2) are in Spanish and one (1) is in English.
Please consider the possibility that Almighty God and the Blessed Virgin Mary are calling you right now to join THE LEGION OF MARY.
As was the motto of the late great Pope John Paul II, “Do not be afraid”.
We are all weak, frail, limited human beings, the only difference is that we asked God for the courage, strength, fortitude and perseverance to say “YES” and miraculously God has given us the graces to do His work and live His will.
Visitors are always most cordially invited to attend THE LEGION OF MARY meetings.
Meetings are every Monday.
Mary Immaculate (Spanish group) meets at 1:30 p.m. at San Eloy Hall, 504 West Garza Street.
Our Lady of Divine Grace (Spanish group) meets at 3:00 p.m. at San Eloy Hall, 504 West Garza Street.
Nativity of Mary (English group) meets at 5:00 p.m. at the School of Religion, Room 5, 505 Cuellar Street.
New members are always welcome.
Like Mary, we too have been given the gift of God's grace.
Like Mary, we are called to respond, to be open to God's word, to be generous in saying yes to God.
With Mary we must respond with love to God's love.
May God Our Father and the Blessed Virgin Mary Our Mother, always be with you.
