Touched by God's Love

Touched by the love of God, we want to grow in our faith, our hope, and our love.
True faith is to believe when there is absolutely no sign of God.
True hope is to trust when there is no palpable assurance that God is at work and that everything will turn out beautifully.

True love is to give when nothing at all comes back. God withdraws his clear presence and warm feelings precisely so that our faith, our hope and our love might become more genuine.

All our experiences of love are experiences of God. It is God who gives to us.

It is God who cherishes and appreciates us. It is God who comforts and challenges us.

We can create, as God creates. We can love, as God loves. God loves through us, and thus we become the visible embodiment of God’s loving action.

It is love that heals us.

It is love that encourages us, freeing us to be ourselves.

It is love that makes us grow.

It is love and love alone that makes life meaningful. It is love we must hunger and thirst for. We know how deep and powerful love is, and therefore this is the most potent and highly persuasive reality of God.

Jesus welcomed, healed, fed, forgave and encouraged others. We must welcome, heal, feed, forgive and encourage others. This kind of work is the way to happiness.

The whole meaning of our lives is bound up with love; we find happiness in loving others and being loved in return.

“Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you; bless those who curse you, pray for those who maltreat you. Be compassionate as your Father is compassionate. Do not judge, and you will not be judged. Do not condemn, and you will not be condemned. Pardon and you shall be pardoned. Give and it shall be given to you.” (Luke 6:27-38)
