Royal crowns only for King Jesus and Queen Mary
Personal reflection: Why is there a royal crown above the sacred statue of Saint Anthony of Padua? Some say because he is holding the Holy Child Jesus! But Saint Joseph is also holding the Holy Child Jesus and there is no royal crown above his sacred statue. Saint Anthony would be the most embarrassed to have a royal crown; and he would be the first to respond and loudest to request, “No crown for me, only for Thee Your Majesties of the Heavenly Court: King Jesus Christ and Queen Most Holy Virgin Mary.” Holy Child Jesus, have mercy on us! Saint Anthony of Padua, pray for us! Saint Joseph, pray for us! Royal crowns only for King Jesus and Queen Mary!
Guns aren’t violent, people can be violent. Pray for people to be peaceful!
Personal reflection: What does it mean to “honor individuals impacted by gun violence”? And why should we “honor” them? We should pray for their eternal soul! Guns are not violent, people are violent. Pray for people to be peaceful. Loved ones are not lost to gun violence. The truth is that people are killed by violent people; some people use guns to kill, other people use other means to kill. It’s not the gun that kills, it’s the people using the gun that kills. Some people use guns to save life’s!
