June 2 - 3, 2012: Relics of Mexican martyrs at San Fernando Cathedral in San Antonio, Texas
The six priests — Fathers Pedro de Jesús Maldonado Lucero, Miguel de la Mora de la Mora, José María Robles Hurtado, Luis Bátis Sáinz, Rodrigo Aguilar Alemán and Mateo Correa Magallanes — were all martyred for their faith by the Mexican government during the religious persecution in Mexico in the early 20th century.
San Fernando Cathedral will host the relics beginning with the Saturday evening 5:30 p.m. Mass on Saturday, June 2, and they will be on display for veneration by the faithful after the regularly scheduled Masses on Sunday, June 3, at 8 a.m., 10 a.m., noon, 2 p.m., and 5 p.m.
