Reflection of Father Moreno's Homily: December 11, 2011
Father Moreno said that he remembers the greatest Christmas gift he received was when he was 12 years old he got a telescope.
With the telescope of life we need to refocus on the beauty of the universe, focus on the positive.
Optimistic people call us to joy, to let go, to see the beauty of God, to rejoice to be in the presence of the Lord, to be courageous to say “YES” to God.
The moon reflects the sun
Mary is the moon who reflects Jesus the SonMary is the moon, the saints are the stars
When there is sadness, fear, loneliness, hardness in our life, we need to go to the Lord and He will give us life.
Rejoicing is spiritual joy, to know that we are loved by God.
Praise the Lord for the gift of life.
Without Jesus we are empty.
Praise the Lord for the gift of life.
Assignment: Every time we are negative and we criticize, we have to say an “Our Father”.
Pray to the Holy Spirit for the strength to rejoice, to be joyful, and to be at peace.
