Reflection of Father Moreno's Homily: December 4, 2011

Let us pray not only to listen to the Gospel but to be transformed by the Gospel.

John The Baptist Principle: “He must increase and I must decrease”.

God is found in the desert, in interior prayer and interior silence.

During this Advent Season let us take the time to be alone.

Let us say, “Without you Lord I am nothing and everything is nothing”.

Father Moreno would like for us to consider these two (2) practices this week:

1)      When going to work or when going shopping, when we get into the car don’t turn on the radio and don’t use the cell phone while driving; instead say an Our Father or a Hail Mary.

2)      All the three (3) Parishes have Adoration, this week visit the Lord, start with 10 minutes or 30 minutes and read the Scriptures for next Sunday.

By following these practices we will allow the Holy Spirit to set our hearts aflame.
